CITY OF NORTHWEST

The City of Northwest is working towards meeting the community needs for planning, zoning, and development in a practical & cost-efficient manner by contracting for municipal planning services through Brunswick County Planning. Brunswick County Planning is a public planning department within Brunswick County Government that has an experienced and dedicated team that is focused on customer service, sustaining quality of life, and promoting economic development. In conjunction with this initiative, the City of Northwest adopted a consolidated set of development regulations called the Northwest Unified Development Ordinance & a new City-Wide Zoning Map. This new ordinance is commonly called the Northwest UDO. It addresses future development as well as modernizes out-of-date development regulations.
