System Pressure Advisories Rescinded

Based on the laboratory analysis of water samples collected on January 15th, 2020, on Old Ocean Highway (Government Center Dr. to Old Johnson Rd.), Old Johnson Rd. Randolphville Rd. (Old Ocean Highway to Galloway Rd.), Mary Frances Ct., Minnie’s Dream Ln., Zim’s Trail, Autumn Ln., Johnsonville Rd., Evan’s Rd., North Piney Grove Rd., George T. Bryant Rd., Bryant Hawkins Dr., Mantua Ave., and in the Brunswick County Government Complex, Brunswick County Public Utilities water users in this area are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for human consumption.  The system has resumed normal operations.

This notice is issued and effective on January 16, 2020.

(Business 17 to Jones St.), Knox St., Business 17 (Green Lewis Rd. to Cox St.), Cox St., and Mercer St., Brunswick County Public Utilities water users in this area are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for human consumption.  The system has resumed normal operations.

(Expired) Request for Qualifications Statements Northwest Water Treatment Plant (NWTP) Expansion and Upgrades – Membrane System Contractor (MSC)

Brunswick County is prequalifying applicants as Membrane System Contractors (hereinafter “MSC” or “Applicant”) for an upcoming project anticipated to be advertised in fourth quarter 2019 with a notice to proceed anticipated in first quarter 2020 – Brunswick County NWTP Expansion and Upgrades. General Contractors, who choose to bid on this project, will select from the list of prequalified MSC subcontractors listed in the technical specifications.

Brunswick County is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified MSCs for services associated with eight (8) reverse osmosis (RO) trains and related equipment. The project site is located at the Brunswick County Northwest Water Treatment Plant, 3954 Clearwell Drive NE, Leland, NC 28451.
