April 3 Update

  • Brunswick County Public Health is reporting the first novel coronavirus (COVID-19) associated death in Brunswick County today. Full details >> https://www.brunswickcountync.gov/coronavirusupdate4-3-20/
  • As of April 3, there are 24 positive cases of COVID-119, 182 pending test results and 523 confirmed negative test results, totaling 729 tests administered so far. There is one death associated to COVID-19 in the county.

Welcome to the Brunswick County Tax Office, including the Tax Assessor and Tax Collector! We are responsible for listing, appraising and assessing real and personal property, maintenance of all property maps, property ownership changes and collection of all current and delinquent taxes.

Tax bills may be paid online here.

Please Note – 2019 taxes are due and payable on September 1, 2019 and can be paid without interest up to and including on January 6, 2020. After January 6, 2020  2% interest will be added to your bill and if still unpaid 3/4% interest will be added on February 1st and each additional month it remains delinquent.

Brunswick County now requires individuals to first visit our website for services and to contact county departments via phone or email to see if we can assist you virtually to support social distancing for our residents and team members during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If an in-person visit to a county office is necessary, you will need to schedule an appointment first via the phone and/or email listed below.
