Tax Certifications

In accordance with North Carolina General Statute 105-361, individuals, attorneys, or any persons having a legal interest in a property may request certain information. Tax Certifications reflect local tax liens, deferred taxes if applicable, fire fees and assessments that the county Tax Office is required to collect. Brunswick County by resolution now requires deeds to be stamped before they can be recorded at the Register of Deeds to ensure all taxes, fees and assessments are taken care of.
