Consists of a group of volunteers who are passionate about saving the lives of homeless, unwanted, or injured reptiles. We foster, rehab, and rehome every type of reptile out there, from snakes to lizards and everything in between. Please register online for this program. Many years ago, the Shag was born on the beaches of South Carolina. Quick and smooth, the dance rose in popularity among young people in the 1940s as they stepped and twirled to "beach music." Professor and fossil expert Dr. Ashley Oliphant will be educating us on how to be our own fossil expert this summer while walking the Carolina beaches. She will be bringing in seashells, sharks' teeth, and other ocean fossils for you to interact with. You can also take a look at her book, Shark Tooth Hunting on the Carolina Coast.
