Community Paramedic Program
Brunswick County implemented the Community Paramedic Program in 2025 to meet the urgent medical needs of Brunswick County citizens that fall outside the reach of traditional healthcare system, thereby preventing urgent needs from escalating into emergent situations.
Our program aims to:
- Increase access to services
- Provide a strong support system by connecting patients to the medical providers they need.
- Keep you informed and involved by facilitating communication with your healthcare team members.
- Decrease unnecessary hospital re-admissions
- Provide home-based services
- Assist with patient driven care needs
- Identify and bridge gaps in medical care
What is a Community Paramedic?
A Community Paramedic is a uniquely qualified clinician with specialized training and extensive experience who delivers care outside traditional hospital or emergency settings. By bringing care directly to patients, Community Paramedics play a vital role in improving health outcomes.
Proactive Patient Healthcare
By proactively addressing patient needs, our compassionate and experienced team helps to improve health and well-being while reducing unnecessary emergency room visits and hospital re-admissions. Serving Brunswick County residents, we provide comprehensive, individualized services and connect patients with vital community resources to ensure ongoing support.
