The Brunswick County Clerk's Office keeps official minutes and records of Board of Commissioners meetings and provides notices of specially called meetings and gatherings. We can help you access minutes of previous minutes, contact the Commissioners, or apply for one of the county's many volunteer boards and committees.

The Clerk to the Board of Commissioners helps facilitate Board of Commissioners’ meetings, including producing agenda packets for meetings and producing meeting minutes, or the official documentation of what happened during the meeting. In addition to providing many records online, the Clerk’s Office keeps physical copies of meeting minutes dating back centuries, and maintains a copy of the County’s ordinances available to view in person.

The Board of Commissioners meets on the first Monday at 3 p.m. and the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers (unless otherwise stated). Closed sessions are held at the end of the meetings.
