PUBLIC NOTICE

ASH, N.C. – Community members are invited to join Brunswick County and Brunswick Senior Resources, Inc. (BSRI) for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, April 11, 2025, to celebrate the completion of the County’s newest multiuse facility and senior center.

The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m., Friday, April 11, at the new Ash-Waccamaw Multiuse Building located at 5841 Waccamaw School Road in Ash, adjacent to Waccamaw Park and Waccamaw School.

Guests who attend the ceremony will have a chance to learn about and explore the facility before it officially opens to the public. Update: BSRI will announce the grand opening date for the public in the near future.

The 11,000-square-foot multiuse building brings new amenities to the Ash area, including a satellite office for the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), a satellite office for Brunswick County Emergency Medical Services (BCEMS), and a senior center with kitchen facilities for Brunswick Senior Resources, Inc. (BSRI).
