PUBLIC NOTICE

BOLIVIA, N.C. – Brunswick County Library invites readers ages 0 to grade 12 to embark on a journey of art and creativity with the 2025 Summer Reading Program: Color Our World. This free, nine-week program will begin June 1 and continue through July 31, 2025, at all five library branch locations.

Children will enjoy themed storytimes, music and magic shows, crafts, and live animal encounters, while teens can participate in clubs, visual arts, e-sports tournaments, and more. A complete list of events for all five library branches is online on the Library’s events calendar and the Library website.

The Color Our World program is designed for participants to read books and attend programs to win prizes. Participants can track their progress by picking up a reading log from any of the library branch locations or by signing up for READsquared—Brunswick County Library’s free, online reading challenge platform and app. There is no cost for anyone to participate.
