FOR PUBLIC INFORMATION:
Brunswick County Utilities will be designing and constructing a sewer collections system along Longwood Road from Highway 17 to the Waccamaw Middle School. The specific locations that will be served by the sewer collections system are being determined based on resident input. A public meeting will be held at the Waccamaw Park Community Building on February 13, 2024 to provide information to residents and receive their input and suggestions. The project is grant funded and property owners choosing to connect to the sewer system when available would pay standard monthly rates but would have little to no up-front connection costs.
Property owners are encouraged to share their feedback at the upcoming Public Meeting (see schedule below). County staff will provide a short presentation at 5:45 pm and then open the floor to questions and comments. County staff will be available to answer questions up until 7:30.
