Brunswick County Public Utilities had a discharge of untreated wastewater near 2902 Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia, NC on February 1, 2024. The line break was discovered at approximately 2:20 PM. Staff from Brunswick County Public Utilities investigated the site and determined the break was caused by an electrical contractor installing new utility poles.
