NC State Veterans Scholarships for Dependent Children
Chapter 165 (Veterans), General Statutes of North Carolina Article 4. Scholarships for Children of War Veterans.
In appreciation for the service and sacrifices of North Carolina's war veterans, a four-year scholarship program at approved schools in North Carolina has been established for the qualifying children of certain deceased, disabled, combat, or POW/MIA veterans.

NC Association of County Veterans Service Officers Memorial Scholarship
The NC Association of County Veterans Service Officers (NCACVSO) offers a one-time scholarship in the amount of $1,000 in memory of deceased veterans service officers.
Eligibility: The applicant must be a high-school Senior and the child of an honorably discharged veteran residing in the state of North Carolina.
Contact our office for an application packet. NCACVSO Scholarship applications will be accepted annually from September 1st - March 1st of the current year.
