Program Overview
Brunswick County is extending public sewer service through the Longwood Road Special Sewer Connection Program. Property owners along the project route now have the opportunity to connect to a new low-pressure sewer system.
Program Incentives (if you reply by March 3, 2026):
- Sewer Transmission Recovery Fee - Waived
- Capital Recovery Fee - Covered by grant funds
- Plumbing and electrical work for connection - Covered by grant funds, if site conditions allow
Property owners who do not connect during the program will still receive a sewer tap at their property line but will be responsible for all future connection costs, including tap and system development fees, if they choose to connect later.
To participate, complete and return the Sewer Connection Selection Form that was mailed to you.
Public Information Meeting
Brunswick County Public Utilities will host a meeting to provide project details and answer questions:
- Location: Waccamaw Community Center at Waccamaw Park
- Date/Time: February 11, 2026 at 5:30 pm
